Photog Info
Some viewers and followers of TDL know me. Some are coming through WordPress and Twitter. All are welcome, and encouraged, to bask in my cuteness. However, some of the photographers might be interested in technical stuff since they post similar info on their pages.
Mom uses a digital Olympus C-740 3.2 mega pixel camera. (Neither of us knows what that means. Mom knew when she bought it in 2004, but her brain doesn’t retain.) Sometimes other people share their photos of yours truly with me to include on my blog; they’re credited and equipment info is included when available.
Mom got a fancy phone with a camera, so now some photos come from a Motorola phone that has an android, or something like that. Anyway, she takes more (mostly bad) photos of me so I can post them here.
It’s a fine basic camera (but bulky, not little), but not professional or anything. One of the best features is that it is digital and it is easy to see that she took yet another bad photo of yours truly, so she can take another one. And another one. And another one. (It gets annoying. Can’s she see she’s interrupting my napping?)
Mom’s really not a great photographer, nor does she claim to be. She’s got a good eye, but she’s a painter/drawer and usually can’t effectively translate what she sees with a camera like she can with pencils/paints & brushes. These photos are the result of technology (easy to take 10 photos of one thing and get a decent picture out of them and since it’s not film, it’s cheaper and you know you’ve taken a bad shot and need to try nine more times!)
and
plain just how cute I am.
